Today every magazine, newspaper, and web site is promoting the value of conservation and recycling. While this may seem like a good thing, it unfortunately can also have a negative effect unless the message is also delivered by the group of future leaders that will be most affected if things do not change.
It is predicted that in the next 20 years planetary treasures such as glaciers and Arctic ice will disappear. In fact, that statistic once viewed as a worst case scenario and “Science Fiction” has now become AN UNDER ESTIMATE and at the current pace these treasures will be gone before the end of this decade.
We can already see the changes in our planet and the negative effects they bring. This is more than just a loss of some beautiful scenery, it is life changing to many people, plants, and animals who depend on these resources.
