Today was easy – we spent it wandering around one of the wonderful places that make up Southern California – The Getty Center in Los Angeles.
The Getty is a truly spectacular world class museum – and on this beautiful family day I was delighted to see a plaque at the doorway signifying that The US Green Building Council has awarded the property and grounds its LEED Silver rating. It reminded me of the important role that green buildings play in climate change discussions and climate change education.
A must see – as an extraordinary example of “green building” and a museum that should be with us for hundreds of years into the future….
