Congratultions to Vittoria Iacovella this weeks Climate Community Citizen of the Week!
Vittoria is our second “international” winner. She is a 30 years old journalist, born in Abruzzo and living in Rome. Mother of two little girls, Maya and Miriam.
For the past two years Vittoria has been employed as press officer at Greenpeace Italy. She has worked as a reporter for newspapers, magazines and TV, and
also published “Islam da vicino”, a school book on the Islam religion, which received many awards. In her blog www.vinews.it, you can find news about religions, politics and environment issues, partially focused on the Middle-East.
Several weeks ago Vittoria did a post for us for us on The Road to Copenhagen – if you have not see it – please take a look as it was excellent.
We look forward to working with Vittoria in the future and to having her share her thoughts as to what she and Greenpeace are working on.
